Laws and Losers: Zimmerman/Martin blame game

Lets face it. I (we) don’t know the actual facts of what happened between Zimmerman and Martin. You and I were not witnesses to the whole thing, therefore our opinions are blinded by what we ‘perceive’.

With all the injustice in the world, I think this is one that needs to be left in the hand of the “law makers”. Ultimately, the laws set in place will either be used as an excuse, or a legitimate example of what happens when those laws are exercised – It’s a tragedy on both sides of this story. Innocent or not, lets move on.

Protestors you look like a bunch of clowns. Looting, breaking car windows, and stealing are prime examples of idiocy. People like you are the reason we have the laws we do.

I understand being passionate for justice. Let me share with you it’s meaning:

Definition of justice (n)
jus·tice[ jústiss ]
fairness: fairness or reasonableness, especially in the way people are treated or decisions are made
system or application of law: the legal system, or the act of applying or upholding the law
validity: validity in law
Synonyms: fairness, impartiality, righteousness, reasonableness, evenhandedness, fair dealing, honesty, integrity, uprightness, rightness, justness

Honesty? What does swearing on the bible mean to a man who doesn’t believe in the divinity who created the pages? Integrity? Our moral grounds as a country no longer stand firmly on those characteristics.

It is no wonder why people are crumbling and falling into the opinionated, racially driven, and predictable vast “judgmental” hole. We dig it ourselves as we pursue the truth. Good luck climbing out. The saving hands of grace are starting to clench their fists.

  1. Thanks. 😉 For the record, Zimmerman should not have followed Martin. He was neighborhood watch, not a cop. Especially not when wielding a gun…this whole incident (however it went down) didn’t have to happen.

  2. I agree that the incident shouldn’t have happened and that the Florida law should not even exist. I believe that Zimmerman is guilty but the jury was right for there simply was not enough evidence to convict him. We have “innocent until proven guilty” for a reason. I think at the end of the day it isn’t so much an issue of race but of idiocy.
